Understanding Vinyasa

Are you interested in Ashtanga Yoga or already a regular practitioner and would like to have a deeper understanding of your practice? This workshop will help you understand the vinyasa, what it’s for and why it is so important. You will also learn to know the difference between half and full vinyasa, helping you better understand the count in led class or prepare you for self-practice. After this workshop you will be able to count the vinyasa sequence for each posture in the standing and part of the sitting sequence of the primary series. A great tool to take your regular practice to the next level, making it a moving meditation, not just exercise.

Milka is a London based Yoga Alliance registered teacher, who has trained traditional Ashtanga with world-renowned teachers both in Europe and India. She uses her biology and anatomy background to bring a body-centric viewpoint to her teaching. She focuses on the connection of breath and movement and on allowing you to progress at your own pace, supporting and guiding you in your yoga journey.
